Terms of Service
Last updated: March 1, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Warpgate ("Service"), operated at usewarpgate.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Warpgate is currently in public beta. Features, availability, and pricing may change as the Service evolves.
2. Description of Service
Warpgate is a centralized gateway for Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. The Service allows you to:
- Connect and manage MCP servers through a single proxy gateway
- Create scoped endpoints to control who can use your servers
- Apply middleware (rate limiting, caching, transformation) to MCP tool calls
- Audit and review all requests passing through the gateway
- Manage teams and collaborate with other users
- Connect private-network MCP servers via tunnel agents
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, including any endpoint bearer tokens you create. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. Teams and Collaboration
The Service supports team workspaces. When you create a team or invite members, you are responsible for managing access and permissions within that team. Team owners and admins can manage servers, endpoints, and members on behalf of the team.
All resources (servers, endpoints, audit logs) are scoped to a team. By inviting a user to your team, you grant them access to that team's resources according to their assigned role.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, teams, or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure or other users' access
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Use the Service to proxy, relay, or amplify malicious traffic
- Share endpoint bearer tokens or other credentials with unauthorized parties
- Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse rate-limited endpoints
6. Endpoints and Bearer Tokens
You may create endpoints, each with its own URL and bearer token, to authenticate MCP clients against the gateway. Bearer tokens are displayed once upon endpoint creation and cannot be retrieved afterward. You are solely responsible for storing them securely and for deleting or rotating any endpoint whose token may have been compromised.
7. Upstream MCP Servers
Warpgate acts as a proxy between your MCP clients and upstream MCP servers that you configure. We do not control or operate the upstream servers you connect. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access any upstream server you add to the Service, and for complying with the terms of those servers.
8. Tunnel Agents
The Service provides tunnel agents that allow you to expose MCP servers running on private networks. You are responsible for the security of your private network and the servers you expose through tunnel agents. Tunnel agent tokens should be treated with the same care as any other credential.
9. Beta Disclaimer
Warpgate is provided in public beta on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, or fitness of the Service for any particular purpose. During the beta period, we may introduce breaking changes, reset data, or modify functionality without prior notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Warpgate and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
11. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
